In their research, ‘greytones of the inbetween scale’, Vincent Kompier (Textoer), Jannie Vinke (ANA Architecten) and Annet Ritsema (Bureau Ritsema) searched for living/care formulas, rare in the Netherlands up till now, but common in other European countries. Presenting examples of best practices they created a sample chart with innovative solutions. This workshop’s aim is to translate the results to the Groningen situation. Its participants will work on concrete cases aiming to find solutions in dialogue with local stakeholders and experts, with the intention of creating a living environment suitable for our future elderly. Under the supervision of architect Jannie Vinke, the new ‘work and care concepts’ will be tested.
