Debbie Lager is a cultural geographer with extensive experience in qualitative methodologies. Her research interests are primarily couched within the ‘geographies of ageing’, particularly those geographies that deal with the subjective dimensions of ageing in place. The current themes that she explores within this context are intergenerationality in urban neighbourhoods, with a focus on the effects of studentification on ageing in place, and the everyday becomings of the ‘caring’.
