ENAH session: Lost in Translation Pt. 2


Göran Lindahl, Associate Professor, PhD, Architect working at Chalmers University of Technology. His research focus workplaces, FM, project management, construction client issues and real estate development related to the fields of architecture and civil engineering. An important design approach he is working with concerns Evidence Based Co Design. In his role as research manager for Center for Healthcare Architecture, CVA, he focusses on planning of hospitals and other health care facilities, a focus based on understanding of health care processes and the strategies of the facility providers. Previous projects concern evaluations of usability of hospitals in Sweden and abroad, educational aspects of clinical and non-clinical environments. Currently he is working in projects concerning Design Dialogues, premises for The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care, evaluation of one bed patient rooms, health promotion, real estate issues related to demographic changes and construction client’s capabilities.
