Kevin J. Krizek is Professor and Director of the Program in Environmental Design Program at the University of Colorado Boulder. He currently serves as the visiting professor of “Cycling in Changing Urban Regions” in the Nijmegen School of Management at Radboud University in the Netherlands. Krizek chairs the scientific executive for Velo-city 2017, is appointed to the bicycle transportation committee of the Transportation Research Board of the National Academies, and is the Senior Transportation Fellow for the Environmental Center at CU. He co-heads the Active Communities / Transportation (ACT) Research Group–a network of students, researchers, and faculty analysing the changing landscape of cities world-wide and the efficacy of sustainable transport solutions, including cycling. There is no doubt about it, cycling is Krizek’s passion and that’s why we call him the one and only cycling professor!
